11. Newcastle Golf Course Ltd. – 7 Minutes
Great for experienced players and first-time players, the Newcastle Golf Course is a 6,388 yard course that features bentgrass greens, tree-lined fairways and more than 100 feet of elevation change. With a newly-renovated club house close to the course, visitors can relax with refreshing beverage in-between rounds.

14. Visual Arts Centre of Clarington – 17 minutes
The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington is a gem tucked along Soper Creek, Bowmanvile. Visitors can look forward to quality art work, showcased in regular exhibitions. The centre dedicates some weekly programs to kids and teens, where attendees learn to hone their creativity by “encouraging their creative impulse.”

15. Archibald Orchards & Estate Winery – 18 minutes
Located in the East of Toronto, Archibald Orchards & Estate Winery is a 4th generation family farm that offers a range of wines – from very dry to sweet, ice types. Visitors can enjoy an epic Pick Your Own apples season during the fall, as the orchard features 10,000 trees & 13 different varieties of apples to choose from. A children’s play area is set aside, where kids enjoy fresh cut fries and cartel apple dumplings from the Apple Core Cafe.
